Addressing the Child Care Crisis

Did you know that only 17% of eligible children in New York State receive child care subsidies?

Child Care Reform has been a priority on our Advocacy Agenda for several years. We believe that when a parent has access to quality child care, they are able to better focus on their job responsibilities and performance ultimately leading to advancements in roles and earnings.

We had the opportunity to sit down with WKBW’s Jeff Russo & Ashley Rowe to discuss the lack of access to child care and Erie County’s subsidy funding in comparison to similar counties in New York State.

This opportunity summarizes what we work towards every day to make WNY a place where women and families can work and grow.
